A ROBBER wearing a ski mask stole hundreds of pounds from a service station.

The man threatened a member of staff at Summit Service Station in Stadhampton at 7.20pm on Sunday, police said today.

He stole £300, £100 worth of Benson & Hedges cigarettes and three bottles of alcohol.

The robber is described as 6ft tall, skinny, white, with blue eyes and was wearing a black hooded top with a dark ski mask, black cap and black leather gloves.

Det Con Deborah Goff said: "This is a very serious offence. A member of staff was threatened, although they were not injured they were left shaken.

"It is thought that there were two people involved in the offence and I would urge anyone who witnessed the robbery or saw anything suspicious around the area to contact me."
