A TEENAGER who caused more than £4,000 of damage to a car has been handed a conditional discharge.

Elisha Wilson admitted one count of causing criminal damage to property.

The 18-year-old of Halse Water, Didcot was sentenced at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Prosecutors said that Wilson caused the damage to a silver Audi A4 to the value of £4,373.70 on September 27 in Didcot.

She was given a conditional discharge for six months and made subject to a restraining order.

Wilson must also pay compensation totalling £600.
