A MAN has been arrested in connection with the unexplained death of a 53-year-old woman from Chilson, near Chipping Norton.
Police were called at 9.30pm on Friday to an address in the village.
The woman has been identified as Patricia Owens of Sunnybank Cottage, Chilson.
Polie said a post-mortem examination was inconclusive but there was no sign of injury. Detectives are awaiting the results of further forensic tests.
The man was bailed until January 7.
The investigation into her movements leading up to her death continues.
Police are particularly interested to speak to people who were in Chilson between 6pm and 9pm on Friday, November 16.
