A teenager was found badly beaten in a Witney car park following a brawl between two groups of youths.
The 17-year-old was found by police in the car park of Langdale Hall at about 2am on Saturday.
He had suffered facial injuries, was taken to hospital and later released.
Pc Andy Ball, of Witney police, said: "We believe this lad sustained his injuries as a result of a fight between two groups of youths in the car park shortly before he was found.
"We would like to appeal to any members of the public who witnessed an incident near Langdale Hall on Saturday to come forward. We would be very interested in hearing about what they saw."
