A PICTURE of a man has been released by officers after a report of a man spitting on a member of the public at Oxford railway station.

The incident happened at around 11am on Sunday when a man spat at a member of the public and threatened to spit on a member of rail staff after he was refused travel at Oxford railway station.

The British Transport Police (BTP) believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.
