A woman found dead at her home in an "unexplained death" in Chilson near Chipping Norton has been named as Patricia Owens.
Her body was discovered on Friday night and a post mortem conducted over the weekend has proved inconclusive.
A police spokesman told the Oxford Mail: "Thames Valley Police continue to investigate the unexplained death of 53-year-old Patricia Owens.
"The post mortem was inconclusive, but there was no sign of external trauma.
"Detectives are waiting on the results of further forensic tests.
"In the meantime, the investigation into the movements in the time leading up to her death continue.
"Police are particularly interested in speaking to people in the vicinity of Chilson between 6pm and 7pm on Friday."
