A 28-year-old woman involved in a head-on collision on the A40 Cheltenham Road in Burford on Friday night is still in a critical but stable condition at Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital today.
She was driving a red Peugeot which crashed with a black Chrysler car.
Both cars ended up in a ditch.
A 44-year-old man, who arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, has been released on police bail until Sunday, February 17.
