BORIS Johnson and his fiancee Carrie Symonds have announced the birth of a healthy baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning,

Both the mother and the newborn are doing very well, their spokesman confirmed.
Ms Symonds and the Prime Minister announced they are expecting a child earlier in March.
Many were quick to congratulate the couple including the Secretary of State Matt Hancock and the Chancellor Rishi Sunak.
So thrilled for Boris and Carrie. Wonderful to have a moment of unalloyed joy!
