PLANS for solar panels on the roof on the roof of a Jericho house which were snubbed will go to a planning appeal.
Sir Christopher and Lady Wendy Ball placed 15 solar panels on the roof of a property at Richmond Road and then applied for retrospective planning permission after finishing the work.
But Oxford City Council refused the application, saying it was incongruous with the surrounding area.
The planning appeal will now see Sir and Lady Ball's application considered by the government's planning inspectorate.
