OXFORD United players have urged fans to stay at home in an unexpected collaboration.
U’s players have teamed up with Thames Valley Police to urge football fans to ‘stay united’ and ‘stay safe’ by ‘staying at home’ in a video that has now been watched more than 3,000 times.
In a narrative that is being echoed across the UK – U’s players threw on the kit and got involved to spread the message.

Thames Valley Police shared the video saying ‘we are united’, adding: “TVP and OUFCOffical are working together to save lives and stop #coronavirus spreading, check out this important message from U’s players’.
