FURTHER changes were made to bus services in Oxfordshire during the coronavirus pandemic.

Stagecoach services have undergone strict revisions following government guidance against unnecessary travel and social contact.

The latest service changes came into force yesterday.

They include the following Stagecoach routes:

Banbury: Changes were made to service 500, Monday to Saturday.

New trips via A422 to Middleton Cheney at 5.45am and 8.30pm from Banbury.

New trips at 6.35pm via Chacombe and 9pm via A422 departing from Brackley Market Place.

Witney: 233 – new journey at 6.20am from Witney to Woodstock Monday to Saturday.

S1 – a later journey at 12.17pm from Carterton has been added (Brize Norton roundabout) to Witney.

Wantage and Grove: S8 (including 34) – the 34 trip at 5.50pm from Wantage and Harwell to Oxford will now be at 4.40pm.

The 34 will run on Saturdays.

On the S8, there will be a new trip at 6.45pm from Wantage to Oxford following key workers requests.

Trips from 7pm will run 15 minute later and intermediate journeys that are not part of the normal Sunday service have been adjusted.

S9 – there will be a new trip at 6.40am from Oxford.

The 4.30am trip from Oxford will be replaced by trips at 4.20pm and 4.40pm.

The 7.40am journey from Wantage will leave five minutes earlier at 7.36am.

Intermediate journeys that are not part of the normal Sunday service have been adjusted.

The changes implemented on Stagecoach services are set to still allow key workers travel.

The timetables were created to ensure that critical routes are maintained.
