FIRST Great Western is operating extra weekend trains for Christmas and New Year sales shoppers on the Oxford-Islip-Bicester Town branch line from this weekend until Sunday, January 6.
There will be ten trains each way on Saturdays, instead of seven, and nine on Sundays, when the line is normally closed. Bicester Town station is close to the Bicester Village retail park.
