ONE of the best ways of coping with isolation is to be creative, and one Oxfordshire artist and teacher is organising an Easter art show with a twist.
Concerned that children in Abingdon might not cope well with isolation, resident Wendy Hughes has announced plans for a ‘Paint a Plant’ exhibition set for spring.

The art project for children aims to encourage them to create a picture of a plant for Easter and exhibit it in the window so that people can enjoy seeing them as they go out for daily walk.
Ms Hughes said: “When life gets back to normal again there could be a public exhibition of children’s artwork to celebrate their creative work during this pandemic.”
