A CHARITY and arts centre in Oxford is helping launch a new foodbank.
The Ark T centre is partnering with SOFEA and Oxford Together to set up the Cowley Community Larder.
In a statement on the charity's website, the centre is looking to deliver boxes of perishables and non-perishables to those who are in self-isolation.
The Cowley Community Larder is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 2pm.
Emmy O’Shaughnessy, co-CEO at Ark T revealed that the charity has lost £30,000 in core funds and six members of the team have been placed on furlough.
