INQUESTS will open today for five people who died in the county.

However because of lockdown rules, the inquests will not be heard in open court – instead the initial findings of how, when and where they died will be recorded in private.

Inquests will open for:

  • Lewis Brook, who died at the John Radcliffe Hospital on March 22
  • Clare Binns who died on March 23
  • Graham Minshull who died on March 24
  • Jeremy Hayden who died on March 25
  • Aslan Quartey who died at the John Radcliffe Hospital on November 8.
