A HOTEL in Oxford has persevered to remain opened for NHS personnel working at Oxford University Hospitals.
The 87 beds at Linton Lodge Hotel have been occupied by non-surgical and administrative healthcare workers since last week.
The hotel, which employs more than 40 staff, is set to house NHS workers during the coronavirus pandemic who want to minimise the risk of spreading the infection and want to self-isolate from their families.

While the rooms have not been given out for free, general manager Keith Walford promised that he has worked out a deal with the local hospitals.
Mr Walford added: "I think the whole of our industry needs to show solidarity, not just for our staff in these uncertain times but obviously for those who need the accommodation most.
"As a family owned and operated business we are happy to help in any way we can to support the local community."
The manager added the business is taking all precautions to ensure safety of its employees during the pandemic.
