Sir,
With reference to your reader's letter of March 19 (Wash the Trolleys):
Please can we make these sort of basic hygiene precautions a matter of normal daily life.
As well as the trolleys and BASKETS please.
What about the lift buttons, steering wheels, phones, tablets etc.
What I would really like to see is all staff in shops wearing latex gloves or white cotton ones.
I would really like to see the customers in gloves too.
After all, Oxfordshire was a thriving glove manufacturing centre!
