OXFORD MAGISTRATES'

MICHAEL JOHN ROBERTS, 40, of Sheldon Way, Oxford, admitted harassing or causing alarm and distress to a man at O’Hanlon House, Luther Street on November 10 by using threatening, abusive or insulting words. He was sent to prison for seven days. He must also pay £50 in compensation.

TONY JOSEPH REECE, 30, Purslane Drive, Bicester, admitted stealing food the value of £33.67 from Marks and Spencer in Bicester as well as common assault on Victoria Road in Bicester on August 10. He was fined £100 in total and must pay £100 in compensation to the victim as well a victim surcharge of £32 as well and £100 in court costs.

CONOR REDRUP, 25, of Riders Way, Chinnor, admitted assaulting a woman at the Travelodge on Long Crendon Road, Thame, on September 1. He was made subject of a community order and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £90 as well £85 in court costs.

RUBEN NEPTUNE, 40, of unknown, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection notice issued on January 15, the day after on January 16 at Bayswater Road. He was sent to prison for 28 days because the offence was ‘so serious’ and the defendant has a ‘flagrant disregard for court orders because breached soon after notice was issued’.

JOHN BLANDFORD, 47, of Atkins Road, Oxford, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order made by Oxford Magistrates Court on January 10 by attending a house, banging on the door and sending text messages to a woman that he was banned from doing so on January 15. He was fined £100.

MELVIN LEE LEWIS, 45, of Laburnum Grove, Didcot, admitted threatening police that he would set fire to a house belonging to a woman who lived on Red Kite Way on November 1. He was sentenced to a community order and must take part in a rehabilitation activity for 16 days. He was also made to pay a victim surcharge of £90 as well as £85 court costs.

TAKUDZWA NIGEL MUROMBEDZI, 19, of Harebell Road, Didcot, admitted drink-driving on September 14. He had 50mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He also admitted driving without third party insurance on MArlborough Road on the same day. He was fined £520 in total and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 as well as £85 in court costs. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months, which will be reduced by three months if he completes a course.

ZAHID MAHAMMED IQBAL, 31, of Bullingdon Road, Oxford, admitted driving without due care and attention on July 4 in Blewbury as well as failing to report that an accident on the same day as well as failing to stop after an accident. He had hit a car. In total he was fined £240 in total and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 as well as court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for two years because of his repeat offending.

PETER VOWLES, 46, of Godstow Road, Oxford, admitted failing to give information of a driver that was guilty of an offence between April 12 and May 10 in Banbury. He was fined £440 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 as well as court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

CONOR MCCLOSKEY, 38, of Merlin Close, Bodicote, was convicted of driving without due care and attention on September 27 in Bicester. He was fined £367 and must pay a victim surcharge of £36 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

RORY JONATHAN KIRKPATRICK, 30, of Swinburne Road, Oxford, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis on January 3 at Abingdon Police Station. He was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 36 months.

MAHAD ABDI NUR, 47, of Phipps Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving on January 1 in Oxford. Had 68 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £346 and must pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Justin POULTER, 39, of Elmhurst Way, Carterton, admitted stealing two whole geese to the value of £64.34 from Aldi, Carterton, on December 20 and failing to surrender to custody. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.

RICCHARDO RATTI, 49, of Mere Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving on Woodstock Road, Oxford, on January 2. Had 48 mcg of alchol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £341 and must pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 14 months.

Dale LEE RAYSON, 31, of Haydock Road, Bicester, admitted possession of a quantity of heroin on October 8 in Bicester. He was fined £50 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.

LEANNE CHEDZEY, 42, of Dickens Close, Bicester, admitted drink driving on Bucknell Road, Bicester, on September 29. Had 110 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. She was made subject to a community order to include 12 rehabilitation activity requirement days and she must pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85 and she was disqualified from driving for 27 months.

GARETH PETER COOKE, 40, of Dickens Close, Bicester, admitted being in charge of a vehicle while above the legal limit for alcohol on Bucknell Road, Bicester, on September 9. Had 126 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was made subject to a community order to include 60 hours of unpaid work and he must pay a victim surcharge of £90 and £85 court costs and his driving licence was endorsed with 10 penalty points.

AYRTON DOS SANTOS, 28, of Bodley Place, Oxford, admitted driving while disqualified and without third party insurance on December 27 in Oxford. He was made subject to a community order to include 60 hours of unpaid work and he must pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 16 months.

ANDREI PAVEL, 23, of Chatsworth Drive, Banbury, admitted driving while disqualified and without third party insurance on November 18 in Banbury. He was made subject to a community order to include 40 hours of unpaid work and he must pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for eight months.

DAVID POWER, 25, of Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted stealing 12 masonry props to the value of £350 from Speedy Hire, Oxford, on April 13. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30, as well as compensation of £350 and court costs of £85.
