A MAN accused of having a 'makeshift scalpel' and a cosh in prison is set to appear at court.
Peter Kariuki faces two counts of possession of a bladed article and an offensive weapon while inside a prison.

It is alleged that the 26-year-old had the blade at HMP Bullingdon on October 31 and the cosh weapon on November 29.
No formal plea has yet been entered to either of the two charges he faces.
He is set to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court for the first listing of his case on Tuesday.
