All public-sector bodies can use the agreement to find projects. It means they do not have to run their own potentially costly and time-consuming procurement exercises.

The framework, which will run for a minimum of two years with extension options for a further two years, aims to support public bodies. It was also designed following the Government’s SME agenda to ensure a level playing-field for smaller firms.

Adrian Sweeney, Sales Director at Planet IT added: "We have seen that local authorities, government bodies and other organisations using the framework are showing increased interest in the very best hardware, cybersecurity, back-up and other IT solutions.
