OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

PETRUT ROBERT CIRSTEA, 26, of Ferguson Place, Abingdon, was convicted of speeding by driving 54mph in a 30mph zone on the A4165 Banbury Road, Oxford, on April 2. He was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 14 days.

CHANELLE PARIS ORAM, 21, of Chaunterell Way, Abingdon, was convicted of driving without a licence and without third party insurance on June 19 in Didcot. She was fined a total of £880 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and she was disqualified from driving for six months.

TADE LINKUS CARMICHAEL, 30, of Faringdon Road, Shippon, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis at Abingdon Police Station on December 7. He was fined £266 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

ETMOND KURTAJ, 46, of Desborough Crescent, Oxford, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on December 8 on Ashhurst Way, Oxford. Had 72 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £230 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

JAMES ISAAC MCSPORRAN, 19, of Chapel Lane, Oxford, admitted drug driving with a quantity of cannabis in his blood on July 28 in Oxford. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

SAM JAMES NEW, 23, of Witney Road, Long Hanborough, admitted drink driving and failing to stop after an accident on August 23 in Witney. Had 146 mlg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He was fined a total of £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

DARREN GEORGE NEWMAN, 52, of Roman Road, Wheatley, admitted drink driving on December 9 in Wheatley. Had 63 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £280 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

JAMES JOSEPH STANDEN, 40, of Pheasant Walk, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly on Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on December 6. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32.

JOSEPH AARON WILKINSON, 28, of Johnstone Place, Wallingford, admitted causing criminal damage to the driver’s side wing mirror of a Mercedes A-Class vehicle to the value of £300 as well as failing to stop at a red light at a pelican crossing on September 1 in Abingdon. He was fined £100 and must pay compensation of £300, a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

PATRICK CAWLEY, 21, of Middle Ground, Wheatley, admitted stealing tools to the value of £2,500 and attempting to steal tools to a value unknown from a vehicle on August 31 in Burford. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay compensation totalling £100.

IAN GREENWOOD, 32, of Sorrel Road, Oxford, admitted possessing a quantity of cocaine at the Westgate Shopping Centre, Oxford, on September 2. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £21.

CRAIG HEASLEY, 32, of Burbidge Close, Chipping Norton, admitted drink driving at Castle Street, Oxford, on December 7. He was fined £350 and must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

SCOTT LLOYD, 25, of Thyme Close, Banbury, admitted driving while disqualified at Middleton Road, Banbury, on August 12 and driving without third party insurance. He was fined a total of £400 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for six months.

ANDREW MYLAND, 45, of Fettiplace, Milton Under Wychwood, admitted drink driving on December 1 in Oxford City Centre as well as driving without a licence, third party insurance and a valid road test certificate and failing to surrender to custody. Had 66 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £50 and he was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Mark Embling, 43, of Sutton Wick Lane, Drayton, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance on July 22 in Abingdon. He was fined £500 and must pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 14 days.

EDWARD MACDONALD, 30, of Chalfont Road, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver between July 26 and August 23 in Banbury. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for six months.

Dayne SMITH, 28, of Reedmace Close, Oxford, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance and without a licence on September 4 in Kidlington. He was fined a total of £880 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court cots of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Omar ALI, 52, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly and being in possession of seven wraps of cannabis at Tesco, Cowley Road, on January 2. Also admitted causing criminal damage to cell 30 at Abingdon Police Station to the value of £78. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay compensation of £78.

Philip HASTINGS, 37, of no fixed abode, admitted sending an electronic communication which conveyed a threat for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety in Yarnton on August 12. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Ian MILLIGAN, 29, of Thomson Terrace, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man in Oxford on December 23 and committing an offence while subject to a previously imposed suspended sentence. He was jailed for 14 weeks and must pay compensation of £100 and court costs of £85.

KEAN ONEILL, 22, of Cherry Yard, Bicester, admitted drink driving on September 26 in Bicester. Had 54 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £276 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 15 months.

EDWARD PARKER, 41, of Sinodun Road, Wallingford, admitted breaching a restraining order on January 11 in Didcot. Jailed for eight weeks suspended for 18 months and £122 victim surcharge.
