PEOPLE can jog, walk or run at a school's annual 5k fun race.

Lord William's School in Thame is holding its fun run on Saturday, May 16 to fundraise for its parents association.

The event is sponsored by Thame gym, Invictus Fitness, and in the past it has helped raise thousands of pounds.

Money has gone towards purchasing essential school equipment and resources for pupils, including new football and cricket kits, outdoor picnic benches, interactive whiteboards, dictionaries, a music mixing desk and much more.

This year, Lord Williams’s Parents Association (LWPA), hope to see even more participants taking on the fun obstacle course, which takes runners across the Upper School field and along part of the Phoenix Trail, negotiating hay bales, tyres, and a cargo net along the way – and those taking part will come face-to-face with the popular colour splash station manned by volunteers.

Entry costs £10 per person which includes a well-earned fun run medal at the finish line.

Registration is from 11.30am, with participants setting off at 1pm.

There will also be a raffle, assorted stalls and refreshments on the day too.
