In June 2019, they waved goodbye to their families, friends and jobs to challenge for the women’s world record of biking around the world on a tandem.

They are now on course to beat the men’s record too.

Ms Marsden lives with her family in Oxford and works as a motor neurone disease (MND) specialist nurse at the Oxford MND Care and Research Centre.

The pair's finish line is outside Beeline Bicycles in Cowley and they are having a welcome home party in a café nearby.
