Extinction Rebellion and Parents for Future have coordinated the action, which will begin at midday outside John Lewis.
Rowan Ryrie, a human rights and environmental lawyer, and mother of two, said: “Many parents are feeling nervous about climate change related threats that we cannot protect our children from - now and in the future.”
Feed-Ins are also planned in London and ten other UK towns and cities.
