A DRUG dealer was caught with class A drugs after he 'leant forward' at a police station and crack and heroin fell out of his backside.

Marcus Dacres appeared at Oxford Crown Court to be sentenced yesterday morning(March 5).

The 24-year-old of Quayside, Hockley, Birmingham had already admitted two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of cannabis.

Outlining the case at the hearing prosecutor Jonathan Stone said police were alerted to suspicious activity at Abingdon's Vineyard on the afternoon of January 6.

After a suspected drug deal was seen in a vehicle police stopped the car and arrested the driver - Dacres.

He was searched by officers and prosecutors said yesterday that during the end of that investigation Dacres 'leant forward' and drugs 'fell out of his bottom cheek area.'

An analysis of those drugs showed he had 0.17g of crack cocaine and 0.21g of heroin.

He was also caught with 2.2g of cannabis.

In mitigation his defence team said that Dacres had only been involved in the drug dealing enterprise on that single occasion and the incident was described as 'out of character'.

Sentencing, Judge Peter Ross called the dealing of drugs an 'evil trade' and said a custodial sentence had to be imposed.

Dacres was jailed for a total of three years and ordered to pay a statutory victim surcharge.
