OXFORD MAGISTRATES'

LEE TRINDER, 35, of Hollow Way, Oxford, admitting drink driving on October 22 on Iffley Road, Oxford. He had 46mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg.He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 as well as £85 in court costs. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JOHN WATKINS, 50, of Enstone Road, Oxfordshire, admitted drink-driving on December 2 at Butchers Hill in Great Tew. He had 116mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £300 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 as well as court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 28 months.

SAMUEL WEBB, 22, of Boxhill Road, Abingdon, admitted £630 of criminal damage to a car on June 29 in Abingdon as well as £525.02 of criminal damage to a wooden bench belonging to Abingdon Town Council on the same day. He also admitted being in possession of cannabis, a class B drug, on the same day in Abingdon. In total he was fined £280 and was ordered to pay compensation of £1,155.02. He must also forfeit the cannabis to be destroyed.

MOHAMED BOULAABI, 39, of Preedy Walk, Banbury, admitting failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates Court on October 29 by failing to attend unpaid work induction on November 5 and November 7. He was fined £50 and must pay costs of £50.

JAMIE MCCUAIG, 33, of Taylor Close, Faringdon, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by North Cheshire Magistrates Court on August 15 by failing to attend unpaid work sessions on November 3 and 10. He was fined £300 and must pay court costs of £50.

JAMES SCOTT POVEY, 23, of Hamfield, Wantage, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates Court on June 5 by failing to attend appointments on October 7, 15 and November 7. He was made subject to a new community order and must participate in appointments for 11 days. He was also fined £380 and must pay court costs of £50.

REGGIE RUBEN SMITH, 31, of Ballard Close, Middle Barton, Chipping Norton, made an application to remove the unpaid work element of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates Court on October 2. He was made subject to a new community order without the unpaid work requirement element. He was also fined £200.

LEE BRIAN THOMAS WALLIS, 43, of Station Road, Chinnor, admitted breaching a community order made by Oxford Magistrates Court on August 19 by failing to attend unpaid work sessions on September 29 and November 10. He was fined £100 and must pay costs of £50.

JOANNE MCCLEMENTS, 43, of no fixed abode, admitted breaching a community order made by Oxford Magistrates Court on march 13, 2019 by failing to go to appointments on October 10 and 15. She was resentenced for the original offence that between July 25, 2017 and July 26 she trespassed at a house on Abingdon Road and stole a bank card and then used the bank card and pin number to withdraw £300 in cash. She was sent to prison for 18 weeks in total because of her ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’. She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30.

JOHN MORGAN BARNETT HUNT, 24, of The Green, Hook Norton, was convicted of speeding by driving in excess of 70mph in a 70mph zone on the M40, Oxford, on October 16. He was fined £426 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

BEN BECKETT, 29, of Ampthill Way, Faringdon, was convicted of speeding by driving in excess of 70mph in a 70mph zone on the A420 Southmoor on October 20. He was fined £165 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

CHRISTOPHER MARRIOTT, 29, of Pym Walk, Thame, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance on October 9 in Thame. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £99 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

BENJAMIN TRACEY, 21, of Cowley Road, Littlemore, was convicted of speeding by driving 94mph in a 70mph zone at the A40 Northern Bypass, Oxford, on July 12. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

Thomas ROUTLEDGE, 26, of School Close, Steventon, was convicted of drug driving with a quantity of cocaine and ketamine in his blood on July 12 in Steventon. He was fined a total of £600 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for three years.

NARINDER KUMAR SAINI, 51, of Banbury Road, Oxford, admitted possession of a quantity of cocaine and cannabis on August 23 in Oxford. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

LUCY SUMMERFIELD-CARTWRIGHT, 43, of Bertie Place, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man in Oxford on August 3 and using threatening, abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm of distress and committing an offence while subject to a suspended sentence. She was made subject to a community order to include 12 rehabilitation activity requirement days and she was fined £50, ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

JOSE ACACIO, 34, of Cricket Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman in Oxford on October 19. He was jailed for 16 weeks suspended for 24 months and made subject to a community order to include 14 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 120 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £122 and court costs of £85.

JONOTHON BARRETT, 26, of St Nicholas Park, Oxford, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis, driving without a licence and without third party insurance and possession of a quantity of cannabis on August 31 in Oxford. He was made subject to a community order to include 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 80 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay a £150 fine, £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs and was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

Oliver MITCHELL, 31, of Edinburgh Drive, Kidlington, admitted assaulting a woman and a police officer on September 22 in Oxford. He was fined £850 and must pay £50 compensation, £65 victim surcharge and £700 costs.
