Police car crashes on the A34
A CRASH between a BMW police car and a Hyundai vehicle blocked the A34 northbound earlier this morning.
The collision happened near to the Marcham interchange in Abingdon where the road was briefly closed for vehicle recovery, but has since reopened.

An eyewitness Nick Blacow said the police car was damaged but not as seriously as the Hyundai.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police confirmed the reports and added that there have been no serious injuries.
