BURGLARS stole a car from a home in Headington on Tuesday and a shed was also broken into.
The first break-in happened at around 8.30pm at a house in Stoke Place where it is believed the offenders slipped the lock to gain entry.
A messy search took place and items were stolen along with a set of car keys.

Two Asian males in their twenties, both with beards, were seen by a resident getting into a blue vehicle and driving off at speed.
The offenders then returned later in the evening between midnight and 1am and stole the car, which has since been recovered.
In another burglary which happened on the same day in Stoke Place, the offenders damaged doors to gain entry to a shed.
Nothing is believed to have been stolen.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Allister Tavner at St Aldates police station, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have any information relating to these incidents. Please could you check your CCTV, Doorbell or dash-cam footage that may have been captured around the time of the incidents.
