THOUSANDS of Oxford office workers are printing out their CV at work in a bid to secure a new job, but at the expense of their employer, new research has revealed.
More than 2,000 people have printed off their CV at work, and a quarter of those have done it more than once.
The survey by printer firm Cartridge Save revealed that the most common reason to do so was because they don’t own a printer.

After CVs, the most common item for printer misuse was for travel tickets - with 45 per cent admitting they use an office printer for holiday admin.
Other popular things to print off include gig tickets, interview documents and photographs – with most people using lunch breaks as a good opportunity to print out.
The company carrying out the survey estimate that personal use of printers at work could be costing employers £85 per person a year.
