After CVs, the most common item for printer misuse was for travel tickets - with 45 per cent admitting they use an office printer for holiday admin.

Other popular things to print off include gig tickets, interview documents and photographs – with most people using lunch breaks as a good opportunity to print out.

The company carrying out the survey estimate that personal use of printers at work could be costing employers £85 per person a year.
