Reminder: here is what we can and can't report from the courts.

SEAN EDWARD RYDER, 54, of Sandford Road, Oxford, admitted burglary in Oxford, stealing £2,000 cash and a bank card on November 9. He was jailed for eight weeks suspended for six months and must pay compensation of £1,500.

JOSE SIMOES RIBEIRA OSORIO SOARES, 19, of Donnington Bridge Road, Oxford, admitted theft by employee, stealing £858.56 from Co Op, Oxford, between December 23 and January 6. He was made subject to a community order to include 150 hours of unpaid work and he must pay compensation of £858.56.

DARREN DAVID EVANS, 42, of no fixed abode, admitted sexual assault on a man in Oxford on November 5 and assaulting a detention officer on November 11. Also admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from prison. He was jailed for 24 weeks and must pay compensation of £50.

ADAM ALEXANDER BYLES, 40, of Underhill Circus, Oxford, admitted causing to be sent an electronic message knowing it to be false for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety on November 4 in Oxford. He was made subject to a community order to include 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days and he must pay compensation of £100.

JAMES ALEXANDER GARDNER, 26, of Early Road, Witney, admitted driving a vehicle above the limit for cocaine, ketamine and benzoylecgonine on May 25 in Burford Road, Witney. He was fined £1,800 and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

JAMES JOHN BOYLE, 33, of John Morris Road, Abingdon, admitted stealing meat to the value of £174 from Co Op, Abingdon, on July 14 and meat valued at £80 from Tesco, Abingdon on May 19 and meat valued at £58.42 from Waitrose, Abingdon on June 9. He was jailed for eight weeks and must pay compensation totalling £312.42.

MATTHEW MARTIN, 39, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted breaching a sexual harm prevention order by having a Nokia smart phone without telling his public protection officer between October 18 and December 11. He was jailed for six weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £122.

ARJINO TAVARES, 38, of Reynolds Way, Abingdon, admitted harassment by attending an address he was prohibited from doing on November 25 in Abingdon. He was made subject to a community order to include 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days and he must pay a victim surcharge of £90.

HELEN MASTERS, 41, of Masons Road, Oxford, admitted speeding by driving 50mph in a 30mph zone at the B480 Chiselhampton on June 28. She was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £100 and his driving licence was endorsed with five penalty points

CLIFFORD ROY GRUNDY, 65, of Holloway Road, Witney, admitted failing to promptly notify the Department for Work and Pensions about a change of circumstances that would affect entitlement to Employment and Support Allowance between February 7, 2013 and January 25, 2017. He also admitted failing to tell West Oxfordshire Council about a change of circumstances that would affect entitlement to Housing Benefit between April 11, 2013 and July 27, 2016. He was fined £800 in total and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 as well as £120 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

RICHARD BROWN, 33, of no fixed abode, was sent to prison for four weeks after admitting stealing from Boots on Cornmarket Street. He stole £100 worth of razors on December 6, £224 worth of skin care December 3, £430 worth of Clarins skin care on December 5 and £135.50 worth of razors on December 7. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £350 and will not pay a victim surcharge because he has no means.

JAKE CAULKETT, 23, of Hamble Road, Didcot, admitted driving at 73mph in a 60mph zone on the M4 between junction 19 and 20 near South Gloucestershire on February 19, 2019. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 as well as court costs of £85. His driving record was also endorsed with three penalty points.

LEWIS TYRONE CYPRIEN, 28, of Liddell Road, Oxford, admitted three counts of assault by beating on May 5, August 9 and October 13 as well as stealing gaming equipment, a drill set and some books costing £100 from a house in Kestrel Crescent between April 1 and April 30 and criminal damage to a door at Kestrel Crescent on October 13. He was made subject of a restraining order and was also given a community order and must have treatment for drug dependency with Turning Point as a non-resident for 12months. He must also pay compensation of £500 and will not pay a victim surcharge because he has no means.

DARREN MARK OLDHAM, 31, of no fixed abode, admitted criminal damage to a property on November 14 at Witney after damaging a window and a bin. He also admitted breaching a non-molestation order on December 11 by contacting the victim by text message which he was prohibited from doing so by an order made at the Family Court in Oxford on November 26. In total he was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32.

ZOE POCOCK, 36, of Brampton Close, Abingdon, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker at Abingdon Police Station on November 27. She was fined £100 and must pay compensation of £100 as well as a victim surcharge of £32.

VELENTINS SMIRNOVS, 43, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a box of wine costing under £100 from Sainsburys in the Westgate Shopping Centre on November 27. He was fined £50 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32.

CHRISTOPHER CRONIN, 28, of Coopers Close, Bicester, admitted driving at 83mph in a 70mph zone on the M4 between junction 19 and 20 near South Gloucestershire. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 as well as court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

BENJAMIN STUART, 21, of Morrell Avenue, Oxford, admitted drink driving on November 28 on Morrell Avenue. He had 58mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £320 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 as well as £85 in court costs. He was also disqualified from driving for 16 months.

KAREN GOONEWARDENE, 54, of Westbrook Street, Didcot, admitted drink driving on November 29 on Westbrook Street. She had 53mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. She was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32. She was also disqualified from driving for 15 months.
