A NEWSAGENT worker was shaken up early this morning after an attempted raid on a cash machine.
The incident happened at about 5am when the would-be thieves tried to remove the ATM outside of Martin's store in Westlands Drive, Headington.
It is thought that the woman who works at the newsagents was inside the properrty while the attempted raid happened.
A nearby resident who walked to the newsagents to withdraw some cash saw police officers had surrounded the property in Headington.

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, explained the store was closed for trade and there was a note on the door that said 'ATM robbery'.
Thames Valley Police confirmed the incident and said officers were called to the scene of the crime at about 7am.
A spokeserson added: "Officers attended the scene and an investigation into the incident is underway.
"No arrests have been made.”
