FIREFIGHTERS, police and paramedics rushed to a busy Oxford bridge after a man was seen in the River Thames.
A large emergency services presence was reported on Donnington Bridge this afternoon, at about 12.30pm.
Thames Valley Police has confirmed it was called out to a 'fear for welfare' incident and said the man was helped to safety.

A spokesperson added: "Officers attended the scene along with the fire and ambulance services.
"The man was eventually helped out from the river.
"He did not sustain serious injuries but has been taken to hospital for treatment."
One passer-by said emergency services were still on scene at 2pm.
