LUCKY lottery players in an Oxford estate are celebrating after becoming £1,000 richer.
Two people in Mercury Road in Blackbird Leys were among winners of the People's Postcode Lottery today.
Their postcode OX4 6QG was announced this morning as one of 20 to secure the daily prize.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: "What a brilliant surprise for our winners in Oxford.
"I’m sure this news has made their day."

A minimum of 32 per cent of the ticket sales is donated directly to charities.
Players nationwide have raised more than £500 million to date, for thousands of good causes.
Today's draw was promoted by Maggie’s, which has received over £14.8 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
The charity runs a network of cancer support centres all over the UK, including at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford.
