Emergency services were rushed to Argyle Street yesterday evening after a two car crash near to the Tesco Express.
At around 9.45pm police attended the scene where the vehicles, a range rover and a toyota, were both recovered.
An eye witness told The Glasgow Times: "There was car fragements all over the road."
One of the drivers has been issued a penalty six ticket and charged for careless driving.
A spokesperson said: "We can confirm that we attended the scene on Argyle Street at around 9.45pm yesterday evening.
"Two cars were involved in the collision and both have been recovered.
"One driver involved in the crash has been issued a penalty six ticket and charged for careless driving.
"Nobody was injured."
