MORE than 100 people have donated cash to help pay for the funeral of the 'proud dad' who was stabbed to death in Didcot.

Darren MacCormick was named the victim of a brawl in Mendip Heights in the early hours of January 9.

Tributes came flooding in from his friends and family who hailed him an 'amazing and caring' dad of three and one former colleague set up a Go Fund Me page to 'give them one less thing to worry about'.

Now £3,689 of the £5,000 goal has been raised by 117 people.

But the organiser wants to reach the goal by his funeral, at the end of the week.
