A TRUCK driver was stopped by police ths morning after he was caught smuggling Polish beer.
Thames Valley Roads Policing spotted him at 6.30am in a dark lay-by near Oxford services off the M40 transferring crates of beer into a van.

The driver said his friend had asked him to bring beer back from Poland.
HM Customs seized the alcohol and the man also had tachograph offences.
He has to pay £400.
