YOUNG footballers will score goals in new kit their team was able to purchase thanks to a new sponsorship deal.

The Bardwell Youth Under 11’s team have kicked off their 2020 season under the sponsorship of Bicester estate, Kingsmere.

The team now train and play at Whitelands Farm Sports Ground in Kingsmere, delivered by developers Countryside, and have used the funds from Kingsmere’s sponsorship to purchase brand new Nike kits.

The team has gone from previously training and playing at St. Edburg’s Primary School, to the much larger pitches and more 'sophisticated' facilities that the Whitelands Farm Sports Ground offers.

The move also opens up the possibility for collaboration with other football teams.

Joe Beauchamp, manager of Bardwell Youth Under 11’s, said: “We are very grateful for Kingsmere’s sponsorship, which will be key towards helping our club maintain a winning streak and continue our training sessions at Whitelands Farm Sports Ground."

"As we continue rising through the tables, we look forward to a fruitful collaboration with the other clubs who also train there.”

Andrew Carrington, Director, Countryside Properties (Bicester) Ltd, says: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Bardwell Youth Under 11’s team and wish them the very best of luck as they continue their season. The sports facilities available at Kingsmere are among Bicester’s finest and it will be exciting to see how these benefit the team, along with the potential collaboration with the other clubs who also play on the development.”

The football club’s next match will be played on Sunday, 9th February, with the Bardwell Under team 11’s playing Heyford Park Under 11’s.

To be eligible to play in the Bardwell U11’s team, children must be at least 10 years of age on 1st September, 2019, and currently not older than 11.
