ASTRONOMERS will enlighten hundreds of people at Stargazing Oxford today.
The family-friendly event is hosted by Oxford University's Department of Physics, to celebrate the wonders of the universe.
A virtual reality experience, child-friendly lectures, space-themed craft, star-gazing tips and telescope observation are among activities attendees can enjoy.

It takes place at the Denys Wilkinson Building in Keble Road, from 2pm until 9pm.
No booking is required and more than 1,000 people are expected to attend.
