POLICE are trying to trace a man who went missing just across the Oxfordshire border.

Alexander Stern, 36, was last seen leaving a pub in Sonning on Saturday.

The last known whereabouts of Mr Stern, who is from Kensington in London, was at the Bull Inn at about 7.30pm.

He was wearing dark clothing and was carrying a rucksack, and police say it is possible that he no longer has the rucksack.
