A WOMAN accused of driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after a road accident involving a cyclist will appear at court.

Sobia Saeed will appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court today.

The 25-year-old of Liddell Road, Oxford, faces one count of being a driver of a vehicle and failing to stop after a road accident, as well as failing to report that accident.

She is also charged with a further count of driving without due care and attention.

The offences are alleged to have taken place on the A420 Plain roundabout, Oxford, on October 11 last year in which a cyclist was injured.

All of the offences are summary matters, which means they will be heard before magistrates and not the upper court.

No formal plea has been entered to any of the allegations.

Saeed is expected to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court for the first listing of the case today.
