A FRAUDSTER who admitted pretending to have a degree to get a top job at the John Radcliffe hospital trust is set to be sentenced this month.

Peter Knight pleaded guilty to one charge of fraud by false representation at Oxford Magistrates' Court in December.

It is understood that this related to his role as Oxford University Hospitals trust's chief information and digital officer, which he held for two years.

Details in the charge reveal the 53-year-old had falsely claimed he had a degree ‘intending to make a gain, namely a salary’ between September 1, 2016, and August 20, 2018. He was meant to be sentenced at Crown Court yesterday, but this has been moved until January 23.
