RESIDENTS in West Oxfordshire can find out more about the work of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust at a meeting.

Refreshments will be served from 6.30pm and there will be CPR demonstrations from Community First Responders of South Central Ambulance Service, as well as a chance to speak to local hospital trust governors.

The meeting will start at 7pm with a short talk by OUH’s two West Oxfordshire governors, Graham Shelton and David Heyes on what the Council of Governors does and how you can become involved.

There will then be a presentation by Professor Charalambos Antoniades, Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine, on using artificial intelligence to predict heart attacks.

The event will be in the main hall of the Corn Exchange, Market Place, Witney on Thursday, January 30.
