POLICE cordoned off another road in Didcot just a short walk from where a murder investigation was launched this morning.

The end of North Road was closed at about 11am and forensics arrived on scene shortly after.

It comes after nearby Mendip Heights was taped off this morning, after a fatal knife attack in which one man died and two others were injured

The bottom of North Road was taped off outside a side entrance to Vauxhall Barracks.

Oxford Mail:

A forensic detective could be seen taking photos of the front door of one of the three houses inside the cordon.

Oxford Mail:

A short footpath just outside the barracks was also taped off, which connects North Road with Appleton Close.

Residents have reacted to seeing such a heavy police and forensics presence on their doorsteps.
