THOUSANDS of Oxfordshire pupils have returned to school after the Christmas break.
Some children returned to school on Monday, in line with Oxfordshire County Council's term dates, but most secondary schools in and around go back today.
After a quieter period over Christmas, the roads are expected to return to normal as school run traffic returns.

St Gregory the Great Catholic School in East Oxford will welcome pupils back today, as will Cheney School in Headington, Wheatley Park School in Holton and Matthew Arnold School in Botley.
Cherwell School pupils are due to return for the spring term tomorrow, while Oxford Spires Academy's term started on Monday.
The first half of the term ends for most pupils on Friday, February 14, when pupils will have a week off.
