SCHOOLBOYS from Oxford sung in front of a church full of celebrities at the christening of Cruz and Harper Beckham.

Magdalen College School's junior chamber choir was selected to sing at the Beckham siblings' christening on December 23, in Oxfordshire.

Their performance was top secret until after the ceremony, and the school revealed its involvement in a website post yesterday.

It said: "23 boys and five staff travelled to a secret location in Oxfordshire to sing at the star-studded event, at the invitation of the Beckham family.

"The boys had a wonderful time, sang beautifully and were rewarded with a handshake and signed football from David Beckham himself.

"It was an unforgettable occasion for the chamber choir, and we hope Cruz and Harper enjoyed their day."

The pair's parents David and Victoria Beckham have a mansion in Great Tew in West Oxfordshire.

The Sun reported that the christening of Harper, 14, and Cruz, eight, took place at Holy Trinity Church in Chipping Norton, followed by an after-party at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse in Great Tew.

Guests at the christening are said to have included Eva Longoria, Marc Anthony, Phil Neville and Guy Ritchie.

Victoria Beckham wrote on Instagram: "Proudest of days watching Harper and Cruz being baptized in front of our friends and family

"I couldn’t be more proud of my children and thankful to my family, and the most wonderful Godparents."
