A LOCAL community joined together for their annual Christingle service.
The people of Carterton came together at St John's Church for the service and raised money for The Children's Society.

During the service nearly 100 children and adults gathered together to make a Christingle and in the process raised over £200.
The money will be donated to the work of The Children's Society.
The charity was founded in 1881 and work to support vulnerable children in England and Wales.
