A WINTER wonderland arrived at Harwell Primary School last week as pupils had the opportunity to enjoy their very own ice rink.
The children at the school experienced the thrill of winter sports as they practised their skating skills on the fake ice.
It was a festive treat as each pupil had the opportunity to have a whirl on the 12m rink.

Headteacher,Bryn Gibson said: “We wanted to give every child a memorable experience.
"Many had not had the opportunity to skate before but regardless of their prior experience, every child took to the ice with enthusiasm.
"This was an opportunity to try a new and exciting sport, to push boundaries and take risks.
"If they fell, they picked themselves up and had another go with a smile on their face.”
The ice rink was also available for families and the wider community to have a go during the school's Christmas Fair on Friday evening.
