A MAN was taken to hospital with face, wrist and shoulder injuries after being hit by a car.
Police have launched an appeal for witnesses to the incident, which took place as the pedestrian, who was in his 50s, crossed Pool Lane at the junction with Arrowe Park Road in Woodchurch at around 5.50pm last Tuesday, December 10.
He was struck by a red Nissan Juke.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries to his face, wrist and shoulder.
Emergency services attended and took the man to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Nissan stopped at the scene and is assisting Police with their enquiries.
Constable Craig Williams, Matrix Roads Policing Unit, Merseyside Police, said: "We are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision.
"If you were in the area at the time and have any information, CCTV or dash cam footage, please get in touch."
