A 72-year-old cyclist was seriously hurt in a crash on the A41 in Bicester.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following the incident that happened on December 13 at around 1.15pm on the A41 Aylesbury Road between Pioneer Road and the roundabout with the A4221.

The victim of the collision was taken to hospital where he remains receiving treatment.

Investigating officer Sergeant Bryan Smith said: "I would urge any drivers who were in the area at that time to check any dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with our investigation.

"Anyone with information can call the non-emergency number 101, or make a report online, quoting reference 43190389436."
