A ROBBER stole cash from an Oxford shop before riding off on a mountain bike.
Thames Valley Police said the thief entered VCR Food & Win, Oxford Road, at 6pm on Tuesday and took cash from the till.
They then left the Littlemore store and rode off on a light-coloured mountain bike.
The man is described as white, wearing dark coloured clothing and a light grey woolly hat.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Claire Sadler, of Oxford police station, said: "I am appealing for witnesses to this incident of robbery, which took place during a busy part of the day when I believe it is likely that someone saw something.
"If you were in the area near to this time, and believe you may have seen or heard something relevant to this incident, please get in touch with police."
